Lóðrétt hljómekra er fjölrása hljóðinnsetning fyrir hátalara og söngskálar sem staðsett er í stigagangi Grófarhúss. Hljóðinnsetningin teygir sig yfir allan stigaganginn og myndar hljóðrænar tengingar á milli hæða hússins. Hlustendur fá tækifæri á að upplifa rýmið á nýjan hátt, í formi lóðréttrar hljómekru, sem býður gestum sínum til einstakrar nærveru og djúprar hlustunar.

Vertical Resonance Fields is a multi-channel sound installation for loudspeakers and singing bowls, conceived specifically for stairwells. The sound of the singing bowls activates the space and guides the sound up and down between the floors, allowing the listener to experience the architecture in a new way. The work invites deep listening and presence.
The piece was supported by KODA Kultur and the OpenDays Festival.
Jesper Pedersen er tónskáld, hljóðlistamaður og kennari sem sérhæfir sig í hljóðgervlum, rafmiðlum og tilraunatónlist. Hann kennir nýmiðlatónsmíðar við Listaháskóla Íslands og hefur komið víða fram með eigin verkum sem og í samstarfi við aðra listamenn. Verk hans kanna tengsl milli tækni, rýmis og skynjunar og skapa einstaka hljóðupplifun fyrir áhorfendur.

Jesper Pedersen is a composer, sound artist, and educator who specializes in synthesizers, electronic media, and experimental music. He teaches new media composition at the Iceland University of the Arts and has presented his work widely, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other artists. His works explore the relationship between technology, space, and perception, creating unique sonic experiences for audiences.
